Home Lunch

Hello! I have a new A Day for Daisies project to share with you today. My kids started school today, and I always make them a card for the first day of school. Each year, I find myself using A Day for Daises images, because they're always so sweet and perfect. This year is no different.

This is the card I made for my daughter. She loves bright, bold colors, so this will be right up her alley. I used Home Lunch from ADfD, and I colored the image with my Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush.

I always tuck little notes into my children's lunches and snacks, so this image really is perfect. The die cut I used is from Stampendous' Fitted Frames Set A, and I spritzed Turquoise Mister from Deco Art on to a Tim Holtz stencil. It's nice and shimmery.

My daughter loves washi tape, so I needed to add some of that to the card too. And polka dots never hurt anyone, right? Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me!
